Camping Laguna, in the Natural Park of Aiguamolls

Located in a privileged environment, the Laguna Camping is located besides one of the whole reserves of the Natural Park of the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà. In fact, the camping is an extension of this natural space because it delimits with the sea and with the river, and it has in its interior, the lagoon of the Muga Vella that gives it its name.

The Laguna Camping is considered one of the best campings in Europe and it offers a full range of services of first quality. Spacious plots in a field that respect the biodiversity of the area (native vegetation, irregular paths and unpaved roads) and bungalows that, as the rest of the installations of the camping, are perfectly integrated into the landscape.

We invite you to visit the campsite and to relax on the beach of Can Comes, one of the most extensive virgin beaches of Catalonia. You will be able to know this beautiful natural environment, either on foot or by bicycle, and you will discover a spectacular cultural heritage at a short distance: the medieval villages of Castelló d’Empúries and Peralada, the Greek and Roman ruins of Empúries, the Dalí Museum and the city of Figueres or the vineyards and wineries of the D.O. Empordà.

The team of the campsite maintains an environmental commitment endorsed since 2002 by an enterprise management system certificate with the Distintiu de Garantia de Qualitat Ambiental (warranty system for the environmental quality) of the Generalitat de Catalunya and with international accreditations EMAS and ISO 14001. Since 2014 the campsite adheres to the Initiative Iberaves, Ornithological Responsible Tourism, of the hand of SEO/BirdLife and the stamp Bed&Bike, Vies Verdes de Girona, for the promotion of cycling.
